Here, I collect songs/performances with different contexts, that are not tied to a certain band.
Some are acoustic recordings of my songs, that has served as a temporary solution before making these with a full set. But since these sound quite different, they have sort of a value of their own.
Some are performed or written specifically for certain people or occasions.
Project Voiceroom
I have come to realize that I still have mental limitations around singing out loud… For a long time, I have dreamt about having a sound proofed room, where I could close the door and just let go, elaborate, and get rid of recording paralysis…
So, now, with this room, I aim to do some songs with spefic focus on voice and singing from artists that inspire me the most.
Project Voiceroom – I see fire
We watched all Lord of the Rings movies during Christmas. This song hit me so hard, it was instant love. I am now truly impressed by Ed Sheeran both as a vocalist and even more as a songwriter.
Since I started to work with Cubase myself for the first time, it evolved into trying to sound like the original as an exercise.
Jenny Lundahl – Pie Jesu
When my grandmother died, I sang this classic piece at her funeral. This is one of my parents’ favourite songs, so I wanted to sing it to them now rather on their funerals one day. Lots of emotions of course, and lots of love.
